简述 ：平和英语的“随行翻译”志愿者在参加完22国领事珠海植树活动后，用日记记录了他们此次活动的不同感受。
Act Volunteer at the First Time --平和英语“随行翻译”22国领事珠海植树节日记（三） Kent Wang(平和学员) 2009.2.28 I have worked many years, this weekend I become a volunteer at the first time.
To promote all local people plant more threes around their house and factory, Zhuhai government organize an activity .All people join in the trees planting. As a part of this program, Zhuhai government invited 23 countries’ consulate of Guangzhou came to Zhuhai attend this activity .Some consuls can use Chinese freely but some consuls don’t know how to speak Chinese ,so these guests needed some volunteers to help and take care of.
GLV is a famous English tranining school in southern china, Zhuhai government also know this truth and ask help from GLV! Fortunately, I become one volunteer! And my task is to take care of the USA general consul Mr. Robert Goldbreg had help him during the planting of the trees. Mr. Robert Goldbreg had lived in china more than 8 years, he understand China very well, and he can speak Chinese smoothly, it is not easy for a foreign people to speak Chinese as smoothly as this high level! I respect him! Mr. Goldbreg is a very humorous person, he always played in joy when other people took photos for him, many local people wanted to take photos together with him, he accepted all and told them to take it easy and use Chinese works to say “Bie jin zhang”,the pronunciation is excellent!
Even the activity only extend a short time (about two hours), but the volunteer’s experience was a very good feeling for me as this is the first time of my volunteer!
