music,life and so forth,from which I learned the most in English.
Study in GLV 林鸿业 Francisco Lin 2008.9.10 Before I came to GLV,I had been specially curious of what English education in GLV is like due to GLV’s precious promise for English-only atmosphere.After six-weeks’ study in here,I find my English has been progressing substancially in expection.What’s more,I learned many values much more significant than English,of which I should be equipped as social skills. All in all,studying in GLV is tremendously amazing.At the beginning of the first,I was a little nervous and overwhelmed with jumping into an English environment from Chinese surroundings in a sudden.But that was good for my cause I could basically find many shortcomings that I hadn’t realized before in English and I was aware of how professional my English accurately was further.After I had fit in the special atmosphere in a short time,I began to attach importance to what I had to improve immediately.I believe exactly that I have done a good job in that I can speak English more fluently than ever before and I’ve got a huge progress in written English in which I used to be an idiot.Furthermore I broaden my vocabulary efficiently which is vital for reading.I believe practise makes perfect.Continal practise makes me more used to thinking and considering in an English-thinking way which helps to speak English with gradually less consideration about grammar.

In GLV I can easily find various topics to discuss about such as business,politics,music,life and so forth,from which I learned the most in English.For instance,I learned how to target market,how to be more creative and appealing,and how to deal with a tough customer,all of which contribute very much to social life and work. The most beneficial thing I’ve learned in GLV is how to deal with interpersonal relationship through communication varying from a simple greeting to a pleasant conversation as a means of practising English.In GLV I can talk to whoever I want,from students to teachers,from strangers to acquaintances.Cause all of us talk aimed to improve English skills,which means we are transmitting friendship meanshile.In a conversation we can share what we like,help each other sincerely,laugh at what the teachers look like.When talking to foreigners I learned how to find interests in common.which is the key to maintaining a conversation joyfully.Thanks to GLV’s encouragement,I’m now confident enough to chat with any foreigners terrifically. I’ll remember all the days I had fun in in here,and all the knowledge and values I learned notonly for beautiful memory but also for my bright future! 来平和英语之前，我一直很好奇平和承诺的纯英语浸泡式的英语教学是什么样的。在这里完成了6周的学习之后，我发现我的英语取得了相当大的进步。而我得到更多的是英语之外更有价值的社交技能。

总之，在平和英语学习非常的棒。最开始，突然从一个中文环境跳到一个纯英语的环境中让我有点紧张和不适应。但是这对我很有好处，因为我可以基本上知道我的英语中那些从来没有意识到的不足之处，并进一步准确的知道我的英语水平。当我在短时间内适应了这个特殊的环境后，我开始把重点放在迅速提高我的英语上。现在，我的口语更加流利，而我以前近乎于白痴的写作也取得了巨大的进步。而且，通过阅读，我扩大了自己的词汇量。我相信熟能生巧。不断的练习，让我形成了用英语思维的习惯，这让我逐渐摆脱了说英语时语法的影响。 在平和英语，我可以非常容易的找到各种话题用英语去讨论。比如商务、政治、音乐、生活等等。这些都是我课堂上学过的。例如，我学会了如何设定市场目标；如何更有创造性和更有吸引力；如何与难缠的顾客打交道，这些对我的生活和工作都有着很大的帮助。 对我来说，我学到的最有意义的是如何处理人际关系，通过简单的问候或愉快的交谈来练习英语。在平和英语，我可以和任何人交流，从学生到老师，从陌生人到熟人，因为我们都有一个共同的目标，提高英语，而同时，我们也传递着友谊。我们会分享彼此的喜好，真诚地互助，因为老师看起来象什么而发笑。和外国人交流时，我知道了如何发现共同的兴趣是保持愉快交流的关键。谢谢平和的鼓励，我现在有足够的勇气与任何外国人交流。 我记得这里所有快乐的日子，所有的知识和学到的有价值的观念。相信这些会带给我一个光明的未来。 Francisco Lin在平和所在的班级和主课老师：Dulce(6C),Vegas(6B),Joanna(6A),
