As the saying goes, it is easier said than done. Honestly speaking, I used to be one of the persons who were haunted by the question how to succeed in improving my English. Ultimately, I learn from my failures and experiences: where and how. As for me, “where” refers to ambition, that is to say, where the dream will come true. I have dreamt of becoming an English teacher since I was in junior school. My dream includes not only the pursuit of fame and fortune, but also the value of my own. Ambition gives me the hope to live on and the power to push on. Although sometimes I am on stony ground, I know my ambition is always around. Thanks to my ambition, I don’t change my mind. Instead, I persist on. Another leading factor contributing to my study is “how”. In other words, “how” is equal to my action. Based on my ambition, I spare no effort to practice and practice. Whatever happens, it can’t stop me from moving on and achieving my goal. It is those trifle that encouraging me. I attach great importance to those trifles because they are steps to my dream. I firmly believe that the furthest distance in the world is not between life and death, but when I know where my dream lies, yet I don’t know how to make it.
