 简述：《“平和英语杯”我的英语学习之路》应征文，作者：余美桃 Come On,Don’t Give Up 余美桃 08-07-14 Since I learned English from ABC ,I felt that I have an indissoluble bond with English.For I like it very much though my English is not very good when I learn it first.In order to encourage myself,I set up an aphorism:“Come On,don’t give up!”Then,I pay more attention to it and work harder.Because I believe that success only recognizes those who have ever worked hard. Underwent many years’ English learning ,I think , enthusiasm is one of the most important thing to learn English well.As the saying,“Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm”.If you like English songs,you will learn the words,the accent beyond your excepted;if you like English movies,you are training your listening when you are enjoying it.Don’t forget,“Enthusiasm is your best teacher.”I was motivated by the enthusiasm of English and made up my mind to learn it well. Though my foundation of English in high school is not bad,but as I came into the college, I found my defects by comparing with others which was later proved by the news that I didn’t passed the College English Test Band Four(CET-4).I was strongly hit by the news.Until then,I appreciated learning English needs endless perseverance and patience.Learning English likes learning our own language,we speak it,write it and read it almost a day long,so that we can learn it lightly and easily,even we can use it in every minute.In the same way,to keep and improve my proficiency of English,I made regulations for myself : at least read one English article , memorize ten new words and half an hour’s listening per day.Even so,I combine the reading with learning new words, thus,for one hand ,it can multiply my quantity of vocabulary,on the other hand,I can remember it easily through reading.Moreover,I never forget to enhance the standard of writing.I write journal in English every day,using the new words which I learned from the reading,which also made me feel effective. Enthusiam and hard-working are recommendable in learning English as well as finding a valuable guide.A magazine known as “Crazy English”in our school’s reading room attracts me since I entered the unversity.Facing with the financial deficits every month,I can’t offord to booked them,so I take full advantage of our school’s study resources.Every day the first thing I come to the reading room is to pick out the “Crazy English” magazine!I write down the spoken sentences to train my spoken English,remember the useful phrases and epressions to use in my writing and so forth.Each page of the magazine was glanced over by me and which insteret me most are those instereting stories in that.Every story leads me to understand a deeper hint,every article makes me acquaint with something I don’t know. So that I persist in learning English for long time,each time I felt tired I said to myself:”Come on,don’t give up!Good results are waiting for you!” Bit by bit,my English reached a higher level and I finally pass the CET-4.After that,I really experienced the saying,“Achievement can’t disappoint someone has been tried hard.” At present,I continue doing what I should do in learning English every day and preparing for the CET-6.It’s impossible to learn something without difficulties,when you are confused by learning English,try to say to yourself like me:“Come on,don’t give up!” 网络支持：Ruby&May
